Irish Water has confirmed that it is progressing plans for a new sewerage scheme in the Whitegate / Aghada area in partnership with Cork County Council and has recently submitted a planning application for the project.
The new sewerage infrastructure will end the discharge of untreated wastewater, improve water quality and support local growth and development.
