Cork East Fine Gael TD, David Stanton has welcomed the allocation of almost €14,500 for Cloyne Diocesan Youth Services (CDYS). CDYS was one of the 50 youth projects and organisations across the country to receive funding from the Department of Children and Youth Affairs
“Cloyne Diocesan Youth Services (CDYS), its 22 staff and over 170 volunteers, does fantastic work with over 3000 young people in the East and North Cork area. CDYS has youth services in Mallow, Midleton, Macroom, Fermoy and Cobh and also support a range of community initiatives, youth clubs and youth services throughout the county.
“I am delighted that CDYS were successful in their funding application which will allow the organisation to purchase computer and photographic and related IT equipment. CDYS received one of the largest funding allocations of the 50 projects and I am sure that this equipment will enhance the services they offer to young people in the area.
