To ask the Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food further to Parliamentary Question No. 48 of 22 November 2007 if the review has commenced in respect of the farm improvement scheme; when this review will be completed; the person who is carrying out this review; and if she will make a statement on the matter. – David Stanton.

The Farm Improvement Scheme was suspended to new applications on 31 October 2007 as the applications had reached the level of funding provided for the Scheme in the 2006 Partnership agreement, Towards 2016. That agreement provides for a formal review of its terms in 2008 in which all parties to the agreement will be involved.
