Fine Gael TD for Cork East, David Stanton is encouraging local graduates to apply to the Public Appointments Service for upcoming positions in the civil service.
“The 2015 Graduate Recruitment campaign for the Irish civil service offers excellent opportunities for high calibre graduates to begin a career in the civil service. I understand that there are over 200 vacancies for a wide range of roles such as administrative officers in different Government departments, legal researchers, graduate economists in the Irish Government Economic and Evaluation Service, trainee auditors in the Office of the Comptroller and Auditor General, junior diplomats in the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
“I know that there are a lot of well education and capable graduates in the East Cork area and I believe the civil service can offer these graduates an exciting career. In addition to offering a competitive salary and good working conditions, the civil service also offers excellent learning and development programmes offering new graduates plenty of upskilling opportunities.
“All these positions will be filled through open competition but in order to be eligible graduates must register on the Public Appointments Service dedicated graduate recruitment websites: www.gradpublicjobs.ie before midnight on Thursday, 15th October 2015. This website also has further information on the wide range of roles where there are vacancies and register for job alerts.
