Minister Brian Hayes carried out an official visit to East Cork today. Brian Hayes TD is Minister of State for Public Service Reform and the Office of Public Works (OPW) and came to east Cork following an invitation by David Stanton, Fine Gael TD for Cork East.
“I was pleased to welcome Minister Hayes to the area and accompany him a number of engagements this morning. Firstly the Minister travelled to Cloyne to view the Round Tower and following this we travelled to Ballymacoda where the Minister was briefed on ongoing flooding issues in the Womanagh Catchment area.
“Following these on site visits the Minister then attended a lunch organised by Midleton Chamber of Commerce before his return to Dublin.
