Cork East Fine Gael TD David Stanton has congratulated East Cork sports clubs and organisations on receiving €484,000 funding under the Sports Capital Programme 2015.

“I am delighted that 14 clubs and sports facilities in East Cork have done so well in this year’s Sports Capital Programme. The total award for the East Cork area was €484,000, which is a substantial increase on the €328,600 allocated to the area in July last year. This funding is great news for local clubs and the communities in which they are based as it should allow clubs to improve services and facilities for their current and future members”, said Deputy Stanton.
